You, your client, and the third parties you work with (such as designers and copywriters) will all understand their part in the overall campaign once they have read the campaign brief. With a document like this, you avoid the potential problem of putting a lot of time and money into a campaign that is not what the client had in mind.

Description:
A “campaign brief” is a document that lists the key facts about a marketing campaign so that all the parties involved have the information they need to do their part in the project. Once you have a signed contract for a marketing project in hand and have sent out your initial invoice, writing a campaign brief should be your first priority. Having a campaign brief is the first step towards a smooth-running, on-schedule campaign.
Writing a campaign brief requires pulling together a variety of different kinds of information. We provide two tools to help you: a Campaign Brief template in PowerPoint format, and one in the form of a MS Word document. They both do the same thing. You can choose which to use depending on which software you are more comfortable with, and which format you would like to deliver to your client.
